I’m writing a book about the situations and feelings of a volunteer in the ambulance service. Based on my experience, the book describes real-life emergency episodes through the lens of a volunteer with the Italian Red Cross, offering insights into the wonders, pains, and joys of rescue and, more generally, aid.
